The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) assists low income Broward County residents (150% of federal poverty level or below). LIHEAP applicants may receive yearly electric assistance from $150.00 to $900.00 depending on their income and eligibility.
FREE ELECTRIC BILL ASSISTANCE
The Community Action Agency’s LIHEAP Program is able to assist anyone who meets the 150% Poverty Guidelines which are based on household size. Apply – (PDF)
