I had extreme fatique and low energy, but not depression or anxiety. It sounds more like you may be depressed, however, women have all different symptoms of menopause. I have heard of some women having depression because of low estrogen and progesterone, so the amberen may help. I would say it is definitely worth a try!
Do you do any type of exercise (like cardio) on a regular basis…that always helps the symptoms you describe. Keep us posted…good luck!

Okay, I have been on Amberen now since April 30th. I feel wonderful! I just finished my monthly menses and it was probably the easiest one I have had in ages. The only thing that bugged me about it was that it lasted about 5 days as compared to the 2-3 days that I have started experiencing over the last 6 months. But that is the only bad difference I have noticed since starting Amberen. Otherwise, I am sleeping better, thinking clearer, feeling less agitated, my heart palpatations have decreased, I have lost a few pounds (I didn’t really even need that) but thats ok! I will definately be sticking with the Amberen and keep you informed!

I had great success with Amberen. Hot flashes were reduced greatly . . .I was able to sleep for the first time in years . . . returned sex drive . . .and the biggest plus for me was I had NO headaches for the 90 days that I was taking it.
