Materials: Clark’s O.N.T. Knit-Crochet, 2 balls of color 55 Navy Blue and 1 ball of White. Milward’s steel crochet hook No. 5 or 6. Talon Hookless Fastener and 6 by 7-inch piece of lining material.
With Navy Blue, ch 53. 1st row: S c in 2nd ch from hook and s c in each st of foundation ch. Ch 3 (to count as d c). Work rest of bag in rnds. 2nd rnd: D c in each st along other side of foundation ch and into back loop of s c row. Join with sl st to 3rd st of ch-3 of 1st row. Ch 3 (to count as d c). 3rd rnd: D c into back loop of each d c of previous rnd. Join with sl st to 3rd st of ch-3. * 4th rnd: Attach White ch 1, and work rnd of s c. Attach Navy Blue, ch 3 and work rnd of d c. Repeat this rnd 2 more times. Repeat from * 2 more times, then work rnd of s c in White and finish bag with 2 rnds of d c in Navy Blue. Sew in Talon fastener and line bag.
