I noticed that The Queenie Foundation (Manchester, CT) is listed as a resource for low cost spay/neuter services. We used to be able to pay for the public’s companion dog or cat spays or neuters. Unfortunately, we are no longer in that position. All of our donations go to vet care for our foster cats. We should be removed from the list.
If you haven’t already listed the Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society Spay/Neuter Clinic in Springfield, MA, check them out at http://www.dpvhs.org. It’s an excellent clinic serving the greater Springfield area (about a half hour from Hartford, CT). We use them exclusively for our cats.
Also, there’s the Nutmeg Clinic in Stratford, CT. I haven’t used them, but am familiar with the clinic; they’ve been open three years, I think.
