Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) assists low income Dade County residents (150% of federal poverty level or below). LIHEAP applicants may receive the yearly electric assistance from $1,350 to $5,000 depending on their income and eligibility.
FREE ELECTRIC BILL ASSISTANCE
The Community Action Agency’s LIHEAP Program is able to assist anyone who meets the 150% Poverty Guidelines which are based on household size. Apply – (PDF)
