I have been using Amberen for over a year.
I took my first 3 month supply and notice a really huge difference….hot flashes were gone, I could sleep again, joints stopped hurting, sex drive increased. After my 3 month dose when you go off of it, I went into the 4th month without it and didn’t order more….symptoms returned with a vengence!!! I am back on it and won’t get off again!! Hi, i’m 35 and had a total hysterectomy june 2009 due to endometriosis. I tried prescription meds for hot flashes that the dr.s gave me after my surgery and didn’t like the way they made me feel.i tried several otc natural meds such as estroven and they would work for like the first week easing off the hot flashes but after that omg!! They would be right back. I have been taking amberen for 3 months now and love it !!! The hot flashes are to a minimum– 1-3 a week. And i can actually rest at night now( couldn’t before cause the night sweats were awful). They tell you to take for 3 months and stop for 3 months. Today was my last day for my 3 months. So i’m gonna see how it goes without it for 3 months.wish me luck. Another thing–stress, caffeine and alcohol can bring on hot flashes, they do for me anyway so i’ve tried to limit those things as much as possible.
