Amberen – a last hope for menopause symptoms
I am 55 yr old and have not had a period in 1 1/2 yr now. Over the last few years I have had debilitating menopause symptoms. I am also a breast cancer survivor and have found it extremely depressing that the gynocologists I have seen thus far basically have not offered any help at all with solutions due to the cancer connection.
I feel as if I am in hell with no end in sight. I thought the symptoms would lessen after my periods stopped, but only the night sweats have gotten better. I still have serious hot flashes, depression, sleepless nights, no libido whatsoever, heart palpitations, inability to focus, tiredness, achy joints, irritability, serious mood swings, etc. I take a low dose lorazepam only when I come to the end of my rope after 2 or 3 sleepless nights, but it seems to plunge me into depression when I do, and would like to get off it permanently.
I actually had to quit an excellent paying job I had held for 17 years due to foggy thinking and depression and feeling like I just couldn’t function anymore. I went from the top of my game to the pits. In the meanwhile I tried 3 other jobs and couldn’t function in them either. I am amazed that my husband has stayed with me throughout, considering our sex life has dwindled to almost nothing. It’s a really helpless feeling to deteriorate physically and emotionally like that. I feel as if I have aged 20 years in the past five.
I have prayed for help constantly and just recently was led to Amberen. I hope to receive it shortly and will let you know the outcome. I have seen positive and negative feedback on this product, and have researched it, including the clinical trial results, and hope it will work for me. I have tried everything herbally and had no result, so we will see…..

I am 57 and haven’t had a period in the last 5 years. I’ve had it all: hot flashes, night sweats, ringing in the ears, anxiety, panic attacks, loss of concentration, moodiness, dry skin & genitals, etc etc. I did not know these were symptoms of menopause! Hot flashes..yes. My Doc told me about the dry genitals and nothing more. She came me a prescription. I know chemicals, however, can cause all kinds of problems.
I don’t know what made me notice Amberen being in a brain fog and all. But I ordered it and am on day 5. I have noticed my mood has improved so that is good and I am looking forward to other changes as well.

Hi Joyce,
I’m 55 and had menopausal symptoms for more than 10 years. I haven’t had many hot flashes for the last couple of months. But I still have tinnitus.
I just turned 50 and have felt some of my signs and symptoms of menopause come like a crescendo especially over the last 6-8 months but really before then if I remember correctly. I have not had night sweats or many hot flashes but I have been gaining body fat at about 1 lb per week over the last few months (I eat very healthy and work out every day and have for 30 years) which has rocked my world. In addition, my ability to focus has been significantly deteriorated and combined with obsession about the weight gain, I am about 50% less productive than before which being self employed is not a good thing. No tickey, no laundry!!! I just ordered my Amberen and hope it is going to work for me. I can’t imagine that we have no control over our bodies and how we choose it to respond……I guess I’ll see. Thanks, just needed to vent….new at this menopause thing!!!
